124. sometimes it's the batshit insane fans that make people want to NOT watch something. it's already tainted by the batshit, so they won't enjoy it.
fwiw, I was one who resisted not watching it because of the fans. I found my viewing of it biased against and tainted. I didn't enjoy it and wish I had better spent that time doing something I LIKED.

182. I wouldn't take it personally unless they were really good friends. LJ 'friends' is misleading. the 'friends list' is sometimes nothing more than a loose gathering of people who like the same things. if you don't like something they do, and they don't think you have anything else in common with them, their unfriending makes sense.
if they were good friends, then that sucks.
