Yes, kinks are more widespread in fandom. But the specific thing of prompts and fills doesn't really happen, and that's a big part of what made kink memes fun.

^ I've seen some people make an effort to revive the tradition in tumblr, but it feels so different having to submit your fic to a tumblr blog and wait for the blog owner to publish it vs just posting your fill anonymously on LJ and DW.
