I miss them too. There was a Silent Hill one active for a little bit and I had a lot of fun leaving prompts and writing fills. I can think of any number of reasons that one might attract more negative attention that it would be worth these days.

(I don't really think antis have taken over fandom and forced all the kink out, but kink memes caused issues back in the day too and now it would be worse.)
