It's so funny, I was unfamiliar with the actor who plays him and also with the Star Wars movies with him, and when I watched The Last Jedi I literally went, during the course of the movie, from thinking "Oh my God he is HIDEOUS, how does he have the career he has looking like that, the internet was right he is fug" to thinking "I would ride him like I stole him". I cannot even explain what happened or why but I do get what you mean, for sure.
