I don't know if it counts, but so many public "dates" between celebs and other scandalous moments are very obviously staged to generate interest in them and promote their new movie or album or clothing line.

Oh no! You had a steamy beach weekend right before your album dropped! How creepy of those photographers to get professional looking shots of you sunbathing with a full face of makeup.

I bet Taylor Swift isn't even heartbroken over every famous dude she's written a song about. :O

I've been watching Voltron with a friend who's a big fan and I'm really starting to believe that there might be something between Shiro and Keith. Of course, she's a Klance fan and she expected me to ship them so I can't tell her.

We're currently starting Season 6 and I'm pretty sure that either Shiro is possessed or he's a clone. I've been telling her since season 4 but she laughed at me and told me I was wrong. Still.

TBH I follow some blogs who are against antis because its reassuring to know I'm not alone in my feelings (a toxic ex-friend and their friend were vocal antis, and I was a bit unsure of myself when being around them and.. well being alone in feeling something is very... upsetting and lonely)

I've seen them in action and the way they treat people is just.. dear God. The things they say to people can be horrifying.*shudder* . Esp how casually I see "Choke" nowadays.

I'm pretty sure Michael Jackson got married at least partly for publicity but mostly to try to get people to think he wasn't messing with little boys

It's pretty obvious that's what happened (and backfired so spectacularly, lol).

Nah, I believe the Gataway Car account of their relationship: She was unhappy with Calvin Harris but was in denial about it. She met Tom, he was charming and attractive, and she seized on her interest in him as something to grab onto and pull herself out of her previous relationship with. An excuse to break up with Calvin, essentially. But that was a really bad foundation for a relationship, and she ended up bailing in a hurry.

If Getaway Car were a flop, I might be more inclined to believe she just made it up out of thin air. But in general, her worst songs tend to be the ones she's pulled together out of sheer imagination, and her best have tended to be the most personal. And Getaway Car is widely regarded as easily one of the best songs on Reputation.

Bless them for doing whatever they were doing because it was so funny how people got really mad about it.

the most likely conspiracies to be true are the ones that no one has any theories about....

I think there was at least one couple in One Direction at some point, but I think they broke up or something. They all went from very friendly with each other to acting like strangers in interviews. (my little cousin was obsessed so I've seen a lot)
