Is this secret for real? How can you be into this genre and never have come across "fair" as in the old English meaning of beautiful? It's a homonym. Other meanings are "just" and "pale", yes, but I refuse to believe anyone, particularly someone into fantasy, has never heard the phrase "my fair lady".
