You could probably grow it yourself, if you were really motivated enough. Just find the right species of poppy.

True. I'd probably have to learn how to do some extracting of thingies to get it into a smokable state... but I'm not motivated enough. That's what being a pothead does for you, stops you getting into opium. Goddamn that marijuana!!

Hmm...perhaps the government should legalize it after all; it stops people from growing their own, more addictive, illegal substances. On the other hand, unemployment would probably go up...

It's way better than alcohol. Instead of going out boozing and getting into street brawls and knifing people, youngsters sit on the couch eating junk food and playing video games. Pot is good for society!! :D

Yes... Some people do drive whilst stoned, which is also not a very good idea, but if they smoke enough they either lack the motivation, or are too paranoid to even try. I guess at least it makes you drive really, really slowly, rather than whizz around like a cokehead.

You've seen the old Robin Williams stand up routine, haven't you? Where he's making comparisons between various addictions?

And yes- one point where he's mocking the stoned driver who's heading out for munchies, And driving Reeeeaaaallllly slllloooowwwww... but perceives it differently. I'll have to see if I can find that on Youtube or something.

I used to get Paul to drive me home from Karin's late at night, when I was rather on the high side. Because I'm always a back seat driver with him anyway, I'd be convinced he was taking way, way too long to start breaking before a stop sign or light, and drive him nuts going "wtf are you doing? Stop!!!" every other block.

Would definitely not get behind a wheel in anything remotely approaching that state. Nooooo way.
