Serious question. Where do you draw the line as a fan? Is there anyone where you're such a huge fan that something as serious as domestic allegations don't dissuade you from liking and/or defending them? Why?

Cate Blanchett. Bridget Regan. Karen Gillan. Chris Hemsworth.

For me, I keep everything away from the actual actors/creators/whatever. I've never sent anything to anyone in RL. I always keep everything online and within the fandom.

That’s how it is for me. Something really egregious might change my mind, but it would have to be an extreme case.

I stan Taylor Swift. I think she's the only celeb I stan for. I stan her, first and foremost, because I love her music and I think she's hella talented as a song writer (not so much as a singer, but I don't care a ton about that). But also, to quote Oprah, "She makes my eyes water, the way she handles herself. She manages the whole fame trip, what it means to be in the spotlight.”

Serious allegations against her would definitely upset me, but it would take more than one person coming forwards before I would give the allegations much credit. If there was a really strong case against her, though, then yeah, I guess I'd have to stop stanning. I'd still like her music afterwards, but it probably wouldn't be the same as before.

Whenever I tend to stan, it's usually for fictional characters... I know I have stan'ed for celebs in the past, but all I can think of right now is Josh Groban, and maybe Joseph Gordon Levitt...
As to how far I'll stan them, ehh, I don't pay enough attention to pop culture to really find anything to stan over;;
