I've only read the first Twilight novel so I can't say anything about swooning, but I was surprised because it was actually super readable? Sure I did think it dragged in some parts (I remember complaining about 2 pages of Bella eating cereals), but in retrospect and a decade later I think that kind of thing is actually very soothing when you're having a really bad day and want something to read.

So I'm glad to hear Stephenie Meyer's done some swoon-inducing scenes. She's not as bad a writer as people say she is and while the genres she writes for aren't my cuppa, I think she deserves more than she got.
