Okay, this one doesn't need to collapse. Not naming names just in case. But fuck you, dude. I hope you die in a fire. I think I hate you more than Sessions right now. I really and truly hope you suffer.

Okay, so, this ugh used to be an attorney. Used to being the operative word. He was disbarred for filing frivolous asylum claims. He told a whole lot of immigrants who were not in proceedings at all that they should apply for affirmative asylum. He charged exorbitant amounts. And the documents he filed were full of inconsistencies, lies, contradictions, and pure idiocy.

So these clients we have. They were tricked by this guy. They weren't in proceedings. They'd done nothing to be noticed by the government. Then this guy files affirmative asylum. It is, of course denied, and now they are in removal proceedings. And they aren't eligible for any relief (almost certainly). We took the case on to try to help. But we can't think of anything. It is killing me. I spent all day trying to come up with something. But these guys are going to be deported. And there is a good chance they'll be killed. The stuff they suffered just wasn't because of any of the reasons that would make them eligible for asylum.

Also, my body has decided it wants one last hurrah before my hysterectomy. Besides the agonizing pain, I'm bleeding more heavily than I have in years. And I can't take any painkillers.

That's so scary and must be heart-breaking. Glad you're at least doing whatever you can to fight for them.
