I want to go too. Physically not capable. And mentally not either. I just can't right now. I'm terrified, though.

AYRT—I’m not terrified—at least, not about the Mueller investigation going poof. The chump is so obviously guilty of heinous shit in his business dealings and such a proud sleazeball in his personal life, even if he didn’t initiate direct personal communication with Putin/Russian state apparatus with the goal of being elected prez, that I think he’s gonna go down in history as one of the worst US presidents ever, regardless of whether he’s impeached or goes to jail. I’m more worried about bullshit like his supposed upcoming EO to sharply limit who’s eligible for asylum and the damage he’s doing while in office. Thanks for the work you do helping refugees and immigrants, btw.

Now, the asylum I don't think he'll get away with. That's so clearly illegal that even his own appointed SC judges will decide against it when it gets to court.

This.

Also, even if Rosenstein/Mueller does get fired and whatnot, well, first off that will pretty much prove Trump's guilt, because it'll be like the Nixon situation all over again and at that point, I think people are going to HAVE to take action of some sort against Trump.

Second, from what I've heard about Mueller so far, he seems like a very sharp, savvy guy. I have no doubt he's been quietly making some kind of backup plans to keep the investigation and all the information he's gathered safe and intact. I've heard that he's been working with the southern district of New York along the way, so state officials can come in and be all, "Don't worry, we got this" if something happens to Mueller, too.

So I think no matter what happens, Trump may soon be in for a nasty surprise regardless, because there's a lot of people who will be willing to fight him if he dares make any moves to quash this investigation.

AYRT—hmm. I am more worried about the Mueller investigation potentially being quashed and the info he gathered being destroyed/put in a classified box somewhere (and declared inadmissible as evidence if it’s leaked to prevent that) than you seem to be.

I just think that even if that happens, whoever’s in the White House next will have to give it a thorough scrubbing and air it out because the Chump is leaving slime everywhere. Basically, they’re actually gonna have to drain the swamp, but for real. I’m assuming the next prez will be a Democrat, but even if not I don’t think the next cabinet will be stuffed with quite so many venal, self-serving, incompetent buffoons.

and at that point, I think people are going to HAVE to take action of some sort against Trump.

What people, and what action? Democrats can (and will) investigate tons of things in the House, but they don't really have the power to do anything substantial as long as Republicans control the Senate. And Republicans aren't going to give him up until their base does. And it's really hard for me to imagine the base ever giving him up.

IDK. I think it's still mostly... investigate, and obstruct as much as you can.
