As a non-SWs fan, I liked the Han Solo movie as well. Maybe because I don't have any SW baggage? Like, to me it was easy to watch it as just another fun space-action romp because I really don't know much about the SW universe.

I'd rate myself as a casual fan at best. I've seen the original trilogy years ago but I'm not emotionally invested in it, per se. It wasn't a childhood favorite. The newer stuff ranges from meh to entertaining. I liked the the plot of the Solo movie was more prequel focused and not about all the Darth Vader stuff. And I like heist movies, so that helped? I wouldn't mind seeing more explorations of the universe along those lines.

I find most SW fans don't hate it either. Most reactions are just meh to kinda liked it. There are some nitpicks (like Solo's name) where people didn't think everything needed to be explained but it's mostly forgettable rather than hated.
