I’ve had times when I turn into an insomniac, but it’s been a lot better since I started going for long rambling walks before bed. I didn’t mean to physically exhaust myself, I just got sick of being lectured by my doctor about how I was clearly too sedentary (read, fat). Now I average five miles a day and I sleep a lot better, even though I’m still as fat as when I started. And when I skip my walk I wake up at 3:00am.

Sorry you can’t sleep well. Maybe you’re a night owl and your body naturally wants to sleep all day and stay up all night? I hope you get a few nice long naps in soon, anyway.
