It's an adaptation of an entirely different set of comics so it was really easy for me to separate them, and while I'd have liked it if Salem did talk, in the context of the show it makes sense that he doesn't and I don't mind.

And I can be honest that my want for him to talk was purely based on my nostalgic love for the 90's sitcom.
