Also, I realize this is a vastly unpopular opinion on this shithole community where moralizing is the end-all-be-all of existence, but I feel certain that people who preach the loudest about problematic stuff are sinning the hardest behind closed doors. And no, I don't have proof other than 40+ years of experience with humankind's hypocrisy.

Agreed. Just look at all the "Christian family values" politicians and the televangelists and such for classic examples of that hypocrisy in action.
