They filmed more before he died.

Someone's laughing hard beyond the veil.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-17 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm laughing at this mental image.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-17 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
And betcha they have mocap data so they can make more ...

Like that creepy Orville Redenbacher commercial? Great.

his cameos are over

Yeah, about that...

(Anonymous) 2018-11-17 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh no!

Sorry, OP!

(Anonymous) 2018-11-17 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I feel the same way about the cameos, honestly. They are harmless, ultimately, but also quite tired and distracting.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-17 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I felt bad for the fans who love the cameos. But I never liked them and they're one of the reasons I stopped watching anything in the MCU.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-18 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
I'm the other way around. I gave up on the MCU a while ago, but I still try to find videos of his cameos on the movies I'll probably never watch.

I was always a little mad that the first Captain America movie showed a guy selling comics and it *wasn't Stan's cameo.* That just seemed like a natural fit.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-18 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
i’m sorry you feel that way, OP.

Some of them worked better than others. I tolerated the ones that don't work so well because he apparently loved doing them.

And yeah 95 is a good age. I think I'm still sad from the POV that he's been a constant fixture of pop culture my entire life but I'm also not sad because he got to see his legacy grow into something beyond what most of us can expect. He lived a long life and didn't die not knowing what his work means to people so that's quite nice?
