I hope you're joking because I'm from Austria and the police here are hardly any better. For example, they've killed a black man, Nigerian refugee Marcus Omofuma, in 1999. His killers eventually walked free:

(There was another, more in depth article about this case I wanted to post, but it included a photo of him dead and I didn't want to trigger anyone and also found it in bad taste)

Sorry, lol. Is THIS a joke? "Uh, 20 years ago in Austria they killed a guy." Compare that to the US where that happens ohhhhh once a month.

Obviously there are other cases of police mistreating minorities but this was as extreme case that I used as an example as this was one that made international headlines.

The gist of it is, that it's naive to assume that other countries in Europe are better. Racism is everywhere.

if Bad Thing Of Severity A happens constantly in one place and rarely in another, they might both be bad, but the second place is still better
