Sometimes straight people like to make up fetishy headcanons that play into every sexual and gender stereotype under the sun and then straightsplain to the queers about how not embracing every awkward word they type totally means they're homophobic cis-scum. And that's annoying.

I’m not sure. In this dimension, the comment you originally responded to wasn’t about people discussing their personal experiences. It was about aggressive fandom headcanon trends and why actual gay and trans folks find them annoying. What did OP’s comment say where you live?
