I think what AYRT is saying, Hon, is that someone at the DMV looked at them, decided their hair was more blond than brown, and entered blond into the field for hair color.

Ha! As someone with experience in it, cops and forensic scientists WISH driver’s licenses descriptions matched some observed reality recorded by a professional rather than the DRIVER’s hopes and dreams. I’ve been to DMVs in multiple regions, sweetie, and not once has the employee ever filled out my personal descriptor details. Almost everywhere, you fill out the form for those things yourself and the person entering them robotically does so as part of their underpaid, soul-sucking job. Or do you think they pull out a height and weight scale too? Do they pull you into a backroom to check your sex? The only thing they test for themselves is vision because it’s the only trait that actually has to do with your ability to drive.

And even if that was some weird office, that employee is blind and the original anon would have been justified, indeed arguably obligated, to complain and change it. Because in no universe is that hair color blond.
