126 I hated that movie. It was boring. If it was about a het relationship, nobody would have given a shit about it. Because the story it was trying to tell was cliché as all hell (OMG I LOVE YOU BUT WE CAN'T BE TOGETHER). Just because it was a breakthrough in the sense that it featured [closeted] gay characters in a [indie to eventual mainstream] Hollywood movie doesn't make it a good movie.
128 I don't schlick to cartoon porn of any kind, but I have a collection of hentai/yaoi/yuri of series I watch because I find it amusing. Bright x Kai yaoi where Bright is the uke? LOL

I like the episode where Colonel Klink made a random cameo appearance as Batman and Robin were "climbing" up the side of a building. He just stuck his head out and was like "hello Batman," and Batman was like, "hello, Colonel Klink." WTF
137 Those Eragon books are just a rehash of shit stolen from every great and famous fantasy series ever known. I won't start with His Dark Materials because we already had a ton of drama about that a few secrets posts back. But suffice it to say that I have no respect for atheists who proselytize (especially to young adult, let them make up their own damn minds about what to believe -- just because a child is raised with religion doesn't always mean they'll end up being a believer in that religion, either) or people who talk down to children in general.
146 I think a lot of them might be. It might seem judgmental, but I just could never be a part of the slash community because of the weird vibe I get from yaoi fangirls. And I don't even dislike slash (see my comment for 128, though.)

159 Cowboy Bebop is FAR from being the best anime of all time. It's basically a ripoff of Lupin III and Crusher Joe.

Also, I think that using religious myth to create a fantasy story a la Narnia isn't proselytizing. Certainly not any more than Tolkein using ancient Germanic myth as an influence is advocating pagan religion.
I hate fanatical atheists just as much as I hate fanatical Christians. Or fanatical ANYTHING.
