I thought I couldn't dislike him anymore after the shitty things he's said in various interviews.

And then he started starring in these adverts.

BS! My feelings only strengthened after seeing the wanky talking head bit he recorded for the Vodafone Company Intranet about how he was doing the adverts for the "story" and the character journey. Please!

I don't know and have no opinion on these commercials.

But I do know that the story/character journey will never, ever top the Taster's Choice commercials with Anthony (Stewart) Head. That was award-winning soapy television.

They aired in the US, too, or else they made a version for the US with Head in them as well, because I remember when Buffy started I was all "Hey, it's the Taster's Choice guy!"

I'm in the US too. I just remember whenever one came on, someone would shout and everyone would come running from different rooms to see what happened. They were a phenomenon.

For the first several eps of Buffy, my family called Giles the coffee guy.

I hate these ads so much. And his "girlfriend" looks young enough to be his daughter which makes them even worse.
