Also new seasons of Harlots and The Handmaid's Tale. (At least as far as I know they're going to have new seasons.)

Cyberpunk 2077, hopefully. Captain Marvel. New Pokemon (maaaybe?)! KINGDOM HEARTS 3! Oh oh, new information on Shin Megami Tensei V. I'll settle for a trailer, that counts as media right? And hopefully Frances Hardinge puts out a new book. And Star Wars! I want to see how this all shakes out so the I can enjoy fanfic about it, because isn't that what life's really about?

And a partridge in a pear tree.

Yes! This is number one on my list. At least we only have to wait until February. I just rewatched the first two yesterday, and I may watch them again before 3 comes out. they are just really great and really fun.

How to Train Your Dragon 3 is the biggest movie. All the Marvel ones upcoming. Star Wars Episode VIX.

Also, my copy of Fire and Blood just came. Yay. More excited for that than season 8 of GOT or Winds of Winter. I love the Targaryens.

Toy Story 4, Happy Death Day 2U, Zombieland Too.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-24 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Toy Story 4 - but if they kill off Woody, I will be pissed. I saw a preview for Happy Death Day 2U and I kind of want to see that. I do think I want to see Zombieland Too.

I'm not sure you could call it looking forward to the still untitled Avengers movie, but I will watch it. Infinity War was somewhat disappointing to me, better than Age of Ultron, but, really, how could it not be?

Maybe Jumanji 3.

I cannot believe they are rebooting The Addams Family or Charlie's Angels and doing whatever the hell they are doing with Terminator.

The new Pet Sematary looks too scary for me, the original kid scared the crap out of me.

There are some original movies that look somewhat interesting (The Kid, The Kitchen, Midway), but I'd have to know a little bit more about the stories before I decide definitively.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has a pretty amazing cast, but I don't know if that is enough for me to get over the sheer exasperation I feel when Tarantino's work comes up.

WAAAAAAAAIT. Rebotting the Addams family?! How could they possibly find better or as good as Gomez, Morticia or Wednesday?!

ayrt

It's animated, if that makes you feel better, though I don't like the style. With voices by Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday Addams), Charlize Theron (Morticia Addams), Oscar Isaac (Gomez Addams), Nick Kroll (Uncle Fester), Finn Wolfhard (Pugsley Addams), Bette Midler (Grandmama)

Marvel will either escape from the singularity of stupid that's Civil/Infinity War, or we'll see all the blatant plot holes merge into something supermassive.

Isn't It Romantic was the first thing to come to mind for some reason.

Toy Story 4, Aladdin (even though I'm not that big on the live action remake trend, I still make it a point to go see the ones that interest me), like another user said, Happy Death Day 2 U (I loved Happy Death Day), The Lego Movie 2, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Serenity, Rocketman, Detective Pikachu, After (I read the first "book" and hate it so much, but I'm excited to see the movie. I want the franchise to catch on like its predecessors Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey. Also, Peter Gallagher is in it, so while I know he can do better, I'm excited to see him again.)

What Men Want (I think it looks terrible, but like campy terrible in a way that should still be entertaining as a February offering. Also I love Taraji, Josh, and Max, so it'll be nice to see them,) The Addams Family (I think the character designs are kinda ugly, but I love the characters, so I'm down,) It: Part 2, The Upside, Spider-man: Far From Home.

There are several others I'll go see (like Captain Marvel,) but those are the ones I'm excited for.

I haven't really been reading much this year, so I don't know of any books in series I love that are coming out or anything. But I'm certain authors I love will have books coming out, so we will see.

I'm looking forward to more Elementary, even though I thought they wrapped up things nicely at the end of last season. It's pretty much the only scripted drama I was still watching regularly, and I'm curious as to where they will go now. Will things be resolved with Gregson? Will his daughter confess or get found out? Will Sherlock be allowed to return to the US or will he and Watson stay in the UK for the season? (Could they afford that?) Will we see Bell again?
