Isn't there a link under every thread going "hide x comments" you can click to collapse it? I have one on my screen, use it for everything I don't want to see.

AYRT: Not to mention I actually did create a comment I was hoping people would comment under when I realized this would happen.

It's no matter, the way this comment was written makes me feel like the person was just trying to be a jerk. I don't think they actually care.
