Period started so I am dying from cramps. Tried to get as much of my work done as possible since I will be not working Friday.

Bleh. So sorry. Hope it doesn't last too long.

Caught up with an old friend and reminisced about Glory Days on LJ. Trying to get myself psyched for my EKG tomorrow. I hate them and they scare me.

Missed a parcel delivery while I was home somehow.

When I was waiting at home for a delivery one day, the driver pulled up to the curb, ran up to my doorstep, and placed the 'pick up you package here' sign on my doorknob- all before I was even able to open the door... (didn't even ring the doorbell, just assumed no one was home because no cars were in the driveway...)
By the time I went outside they were driving away, and I had to wait another two weeks before I was able to pick up my package at the nearest post office;;

Went grocery shopping. Took an at-home test and might have a UTI. Sigh. Drinking water by the gallon and taking Azo, hopefully feeling better tomorrow. It was raining today so I didn't go for a run. I got mac and cheese from the deli so at least dinner will be good. Have work tomorrow but then two days off.

Doctor, my regular pharmacy still is down so I had to go to a popup one and pay 20$.

I'm glad my regular one is down bc that means I don't have to go to this part time temp job that I hate. Even if it'll end at the end of the year.

Was *cold at work*, omfg. That office was like a meat locker, so i sat around in my coat all day, with a blanket over my legs, and alternated warming my hands under my thigh. Sheesh!

I hope that you don't get sick from feeling cold all day.

Me, too, considering i was literally sick in bed for four days a couple weeks ago.

Chief wasn't there for most of the day, or he'd have turned the heat up. The thermostat's in his office.

Tomorrow - I bring a hoodie and will make 'i need a space heater' noises, so he'll crank it, heh.

I rolled all over my new carpet. The saga of the flooded basement has moved on to its next chapter: The Unpackening.

Half a day of work and then doctor's visit with my partner.

Did some online xmas shopping, got most of the family's presents sorted I think.

Slept. Ate, cuddled kittens and cats, slept some more. Showered, napped.

Still trying to catch up some on sleep from last week of working both overnights and day shifts for the holiday. Next week I'll actually catch up on like ... cleaning and laundry and shit.

I feel so jealous of people who can post selfies to get validation when they're feeling insecure about their bodies

Worked, and have been just messing around online since I got home. I'm now making dinner and I need to do some cleaning, then probably just watching the news and reading for awhile, then bed.

I had my last group therapy session, was given a certificate for it, picked out birthday cards for my dad & my boss (their birthdays are today), I also ended up grabbing cards for my brothers' birthdays in February & May. Visited with kitties at the pet store, bought Christmas cards, grabbed milkshakes for me & my dad along with some chips & iced tea. Went out to dinner with my parents. Now I'm browsing F!S.

Had an ultrasound.

Had my post-surgery doctor's appointment. We agreed on two more weeks at home before I can drive again. I think that makes sense.

Other than that, took a really long nap. Had a bad night last night and was really tired.

And watched some stuff on tv that I'd recorded. Animal Cops Houston, Amanda to the Rescue, and other Animal Planet shows.

Went to lunch with family, which was... tiring. My dad and his sister sniped at one another for the best part of two hours, and then at the end of the meal he also decided to get a dig in at me for spending the whole tedious experience on my phone.

Went Christmas shopping with my mom.
