Re: What shows/movies/games do you see a lot of but have no idea what the thing is about.
(Anonymous) 2018-11-29 01:58 am (UTC)(link)I love early Stephen King and the small town Maine setting, and it was great for that atmosphere and feel. There's plenty of callbacks to King's novels, but you don't need to get them all in order to understand the show. There are some excellent performances by all the leads, especially Sissy Spacek and Bill Skarsgard.
But... and this is without spoilers, the plot is very non-linear, albeit beautifully done. If you're bothered by open endings and questions that don't really get answered, this is not the show for you.
