112. XD I realized the exact same thing. Except my show was the old Batman cartoon.
129. I’m not sure that the “elitist” label gets slapped on because of having more knowledge about the original work. I think it gets slapped on because of the overall, “Oh, GAWD, you like the ADAPTION? What kind of IDIOT are you?” attitude that people who get called elitists tend to have.
Of course, there could be people who throw around the elitist title to overcome their own insecurity issues and I just haven’t met them yet.

The scenes that stand out to me are all from the fourth season, since I have that on DVD. There are a couple of scenes where Batman gets tied up and hung upside down (by Harley Quinn at least once) and a few times when Robin gets trussed up and threatened with horrible things.
I guess it's actually more of a bondage/peril/death trap kink. ^.^'
