Nope. Hard nope. I like it when fiction portrays a marriage where everyone remains faithful to each other. This is not that rare in real life, but going by fiction, you'd think almost everyone was going around having random affairs.

This. Also it seems such a cop out to have an affair involved to create drama. Marriages have strains and fall apart for all sorts of reasons.
