What is everyone doing this weekend?

Tomorrow, I am going to make some cookies for my sister. We are also making chicken stew because my other sister is coming down to see the baby. Other than that, I think I'll watch some TV.

There's an animation all-nighter marathon tomorrow in my town (three feature movies, a few first episodes from new series, lots and lots of short films, running from 9PM to 6AM) and I'm doing it with a couple of friends. But before that... I'm trying to stay awake until at least the middle of the night today as to try to shift my sleep schedule.

Ooooohhh, what movies are they playing? Do you get breaks so you can stretch and eat and such?

A rerun of Corpse Bride (I wonder why, I don't really care for it but whatever), Penguin Highway and Mindgame. We get two breaks, one after each film, and coffee and croissants in the morning!

That is an odd mix of movies! Have fun. :D

As for me, I have nothing to do tomorrow, which is fabulous. I get to stay in bed & do whatever. I have some laundry to catch up on. I went to two bookstores after work today & bought a lot of stuff.

Sunday, my parents & I are going to Sleepless in Seattle's 25th anniversary showing. I have to call Regal's customer service before we go, though. I have an e-mail confirmation for the tickets, but the tickets don't appear in my app under the My Tickets tab. They should & it annoys me that they don't. I e-mailed customer service about it a few days ago but haven't heard back, so I'll just have to call.

I bought Room, Eligible, three teen romance novels (they're a series) for .18 a piece, a Reign tie-in novel, and three Christmas CDs at the secondhand bookstore. The Christmas CDs are for my mom, my boss, and me. Mom's is Barry Manilow. The one for my boss is kind of a gag gift. I found a CD the band for which is called A ______ Family Christmas, and it's my boss' surname as well, so it made me laugh. Mine is Jessica Simpson. Sadly there were no secondhand copies of Hilary Duff's Christmas album to be found. :(

At Barnes & Noble, I got Perfect 10 and Pride. There was a 10% off coupon, and we got an extra 10% off because we have a membership.

Cooking and cleaning. I always say that and then I end up doing one or the other or sometimes neither, but the cooking will mostly just be some baking so it should be actually possible.

OOoh, what are you baking? Maybe if you tell me it will make you feel obligated to make it. :P I will ask you about them again dangit!

Buttermilk rolls and blueberry muffins. (I'm also cooking some stuffing, which is an odd choice but I take it to work for lunch.)

I'm in an amateur orechestra whose anual Christmas concert is tomorrow. We're running three practices as well as a mini-concert downtown mid-day. I'll probably spend all of Sunday curled up at home, haha.

Work has been kinda hectic this week so I'm looking forward to not having to actually do anything or go anywhere. My plan is to catch up on some TV I've DVRed, do some reading, possibly some writing, and cleaning. I also want to start getting everything ready for a trip I've got coming up. I've got some time before I leave, but work is going to be busy between now and then so I don't want to wait until the last minute and be all stressed out when things are crazy.

Oh dear. I hope you are able to get some quality relaxing in. What shows are you catching up on? And where are you vacationing?

I'm finishing up this show called Bellevue that I think was on last year? Or maybe early this year, I'm not positive, but it's been sitting on my DVR a long time. It's about the murder of a teenager in a small town, that may or may not be related to a cold case murder from 20 years before. It's not bad and I've only got one episode left. Also The Terror, which was on this past winter, I think (I've only got an episode of it left, too). Other than that, just the most recent episode of a few current shows (Chicago Med, PD, SVU, and Blindspot). I might watch Haunting of Hill House instead though because I've heard a ton of good stuff about it.

Las Vegas! I haven't been in a couple years so I'm looking forward to it.

Volunteering for a World AIDS Day program on Saturday, maybe seeing Ralph on Sunday.

I tell myself I am going to put law on order on prime on the background and tidy but I will probably curl up in a corner with my dogs and play pokemon sun instead because depression is kicking my ass right now.
