I don't think this is an uncommon opinion? I only played around the edges of the fandom at the time it came out, but I never felt there was a lot of Lockley love.

There were a few reasons why Season 5 was a drop off from the 4, and lack of Ivanova was definitely one (along with different network, the main plot points being resolved in 4 because it was expected to be the last one, etc, etc). I still enjoyed it, but not on the same level.

Yes, it is. I still think Lockley is terrible quite apart from following Ivanova and that I wouldn't have liked her if she'd shown up earlier.

I want to like Lockley - I like her a lot in "Day of the Dead" - but yeah, she just wasn't well written most of the time. The bit where she admits she was on Clark's side and everyone applauds was just embarrassing, and the whole thing about her being Sheridan's ex-wife was just pointless.
