Just bc he's officially lower rank now doesn't mean squat in this situation, tho. Holdo is an unknown factor behaving in an alienating manner that is potentially risky. Poe is well known, respected, and liked by the Resistance, and he has reason to suspect treachery. Even an underling should be informed when they have social currency like Poe does in this instance, as evidenced by the mutiny.
