Pretty much. I have been a Star Wars fan since childhood, but I am pretty much done with the fandom. It seems to be made up of the whiniest, most unpleaseable assholes. I still hate the prequels, but more and more, I sympathize with George Lucas. I honestly wonder if after making the deal where he turned over the rights to Star Wars, if he didn’t grab his check, leap into his red corvette, and sped off into the sunset shouting, “They’re your problem now, suckers!”

Because the fandom is the worst. That’s why.
