6. Being thin doesn't prove someone is prettier than someone overweight. I have a couple overweight friends who I feel are prettier than I'll ever be and can cosplay their characters better than I can. In fact, many thin people fail at some cosplay. (Rail thin Tifas, emaciated Sailor Scouts, stick!Orihimes...)

Many times, a heftier body type can actually give someone an advantage with cosplay.
