Being too thin is also a problem but that isn't directly linked to my cosplays and therefore not a secret. If you don't have the body type and the general 'look' to be cosplaying a certain character then you should move a long and find someone else to cosplay no matter how much you like the character. I wouldn't cosplay someone who was insanely tall or looked like a twelve year old girl.

I think too many people fail to get the point of this place. It's not this general debate on whether or not fat people should cosplay. In my personal experience I do cosplay a lot of characters usually done poorly by overweight unattractive girls and as I said in the secret my friends say that people will start thinking I do it on purpose because of this continuing trend, when honestly it's just the fact that I like the characters and know I can cosplay them very well. And yes, by default I'm usually considered better because I'm considered 'pretty' in most generalized terms because I don't have a 54 inch waist to go with the double Ds. I'm small, I'm curvy, I pull it off better. This wasn't a secret that overweight people shouldn't cosplay, but ... in my experience I don't do it purposely, but I do still know I'm doing it 'better' by default.

I loathe stick thin cosplay of characters. Or people too tall for characters. Body type, height, look should all be considered ... but again that has NOTHING to do with the secret. Kthx.
