i poked my head into the ao3 category for Stranger Things after i mainlined the first season a few weeks ago cos Sheriff Dude/Winona Ryder are unf and i was... a little freaked by all the kid pairing fic. not even aged up fic, just. *gestures in the air* just why? they're supposed to be twelve! whyyyyyyyy???

I've been in fandom for 17 years. Experience is telling me that a good chunk of the people writing porn about 12 year olds are not, in fact, young.

Pairing I don't mind. I shipped Harry Potter characters before, and didn't mind if they started dating young. But porny fics? Not my thing and grosses me out.
