Star Wars novels

I'd like to read them but there's a lot and I have no idea where to even start. Also I've heard that some aren't considered canon anymore and I'd like to avoid those. Can anyone send some recs or at least give me a good jumping off point?

If it's marked with the Legends banner, then it isn't canon anymore.

I pulled up this post from Wookiepedia (They all LOOK canon on this list bc of when they were released) but I can't really attest to, uh, about 50 books.
