That's about fanworks that involve fictional characters not child actors.

I don’t hang out in live-action fandoms, but I think there’s a distinction between shipping the characters and shipping the actors, and both are distinct from tinhatting and harassment.

Several months ago people on FS were arguing that it's not only not suspiciously pedophilic/creepy to write pornfic of the ST kids as kids, but that it's also not pedophilic/creepy to write RPS pornfic of the child actors themselves getting raped by their adult co-stars. And they were adamant about it, like the anon arguing that it IS creepy/pedophilic got dogpiled and had typical "go home, uptight SJW anti scum" responses.

I'm a little surprised at seeing people agree with OP after that shit went down.
