Not in this fandom, haven't seen the show, but there's nothing inherently wrong in getting invested in a ship between two characters, no matter what their age is.

Birthday counters are disgusting, because they're a RL thing and absolutely creepy af.

I'm personally not interested at all in any sexual thing between younger characters, but so long as it's marked and warned for idgaf if people want to write it or read it, especially since a lot of the writers are likely to be around those ages themselves.

As for myself, I enjoy shipping younger characters but the stories I read tend to be more on the small romance side of things than sex.
