The tone of the secret does scream a superiority complex. I too can handle concrit but if someone sent me a rewritten version of my story, anonymously just to rub it in my face at how much better they can do? That's tasteless.

I've read my share of crappy fics, which frustrated me to no end. My ship of preference has a small following as it is and to see bad fic makes me want to tear my hair out. But if the OP has that much time on their hands, they should maybe offer to beta or give out some solid advice.

Yes, there are little preteen brats who think their stuff is the shit. However, I think that online, it's easy to forget that behind the stories and the usernames, there are people with feelings. And even if they're brats, we should be more mature.

So in short, I don't think it's funny, I think the first person was right and the OP definitely has some issues. :\

Meh. I'm not going to engage in a moral debate about the actions of others. I've probably overstepped my bounds as is. I see your point, and I still think the virtues of what she does outweigh the parts that may be seen as tasteless.

*shrugs* I don't disagree completely with what they did. I just think it could've been handled better. I've had urges to the same ... or at least leave a very long review about grammer and characterizations. :\

You're right about how people handle concrit though ... it's kinda sad.
