Netflix did get into the TV/movie streaming on the ground floor, though, and eleven bucks a month is suuuuuper cheap for the amount of stuff they have available. Even if a lot of it is B-movies, that doesn't make them bad--I wouldn't have come across, say Train to Busan on my own, and sometimes I just get the urge to watch Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil, and a lot of their self-made content is good! Even without the Disney properties, Netflix has a ton of shit to watch, for, again, eleven bucks a month. No commercials for random shit. No black dude shouting at me about Thursday Night Football (lookin' at you, Prime).

Yes, Netflix is trying to make money. They're still cheaper than Hulu Plus or HBOGo, with a TON more content and no ads (except for "hey, go watch this" when whatever you're watching is over and the credits are rolling). I don't think any of these niche streaming services like Disney or DC will ever be as popular as Netflix, because those services don't have near the content and don't have as wide an appeal.
