the nice thing is, OP, rabbits really do have an entire secret language that you can learn to communicate with them through. It's all based on body language and body position. They've got serious Edo Japan levels of etiquette and a thousand ways to say something. For instance its rude to pass a bunny (or fellow bun) without nosing them. Grooming is a 'wait, I need to hit pause to think about this' but can also be a 'see? everything's fine between us'. A bunny stretched out and flopped usually means they're super relaxed BUT if there's another bun they're mad at nearby it can also mean 'look at me, I am SO much more relaxed than you, I don't even care that you're there, that's how little you mean to me'. And no sailor in the world can cuss the way a rabbit flicking its heels at you as it hops away just has. And that's just the start.
