It's been so long since the last time I watched the movies or read the books that they've become one and the same for me. Personally I lost any sort of affection I ever felt for Molly Weasley in that scene in Goblet of Fire when she snubs Hermione based on fake stories written by Rita Skeeter.

I'm not sure what did it for me: that, or her thinking that she had more of a say in Harry's care than Harry's actual legal guardian. She thinks she's the boss of everyone, and I really hate people like that in real life.

Yeah, she jumps at the chance to be mean to Hermione, a 14-year-old girl, bc of some crap she read in a gossip mag? She doesn't even bother talking to Ron first or asking anyone if the story is true. She also treated Fleur like total crap, for literally no reason at all other than Fleur was pretty. Plus Molly is an ass to all of her kids and her husband at different times.

When I first read the books I really liked Molly. But the older I've gotten the more I realize how awful a lot of her behavior in the books was.

For me it was that, and the whole thing with her being downright nasty to Fleur, because the poor girl had the audacity to fall in love with Bill.
