It’s not a direct connection, but a lot of the people who antis accuse of being pedophiles are liberals who’re big on diversity in fiction. I’m thinking of folks like Fandom-Is-For-Pleasure or Freedom-of-Fanfic. (For their part, these people accuse antis of being fascists and/or fundamentalist Christians.)

A someone upthread said, it's easy to confuse antis with SJWs because they pay lip service to the same rhetoric. But for antis, "problematic" is often a dressed up term for "sex is gross and wrong outside my pure cinnamon role boundaries". Your average anti is basically a secular Protestant wearing a gay hat. Strange times.
