The end of what, exactly?

The MCU movies? - nope, though they are being coy about which films exactly are happening beyond the Spider-Man one (which is after Endgame), they've got release dates for 2 movies in 2020, and 3 each in 2021 and 2022 (and, wow, it felt weird to write those years).

The Russos? - don't think so, Marvel seems pretty happy with them, then again, anything could happen

The Avengers as a property? - uh, no, they will make them as long as they make money

This particular combination of Avengers? - probably, they've raised the stakes enough that if they don't lose at least one major player, people won't believe them in later projects

Evans has wanted out for a while (to try his hand at directing or so I heard) so Cap is probably going to meet his end in Endgame.

OP: 1. The end of mega-crossover event movies with horrible plot ideas and transparently manipulative emotional development and 2. SFF fandom sites running a dozen posts a week on every single half-baked rumor, meta, and analysis about the film.

ayrt

1. I'm going to say doubtful, especially now that the Fox deal is going through and Disney will have control of the X-Men (and Fantastic Four) now, too. 2. Probably not, though maybe not with such a fury (at least until there's another team-up when actors are at the ends of their contracts).
