Nothing and nobody. Over a decade ago we decided to stop buying gifts for each other and it's been wonderful. All the joy of getting together with the family without the stress of finding good gifts for everyone.

It's amazing how much more enjoyable that makes the holidays, isn't it? My family did the same thing a while ago and Christmas is just so much NICER now that we're focused on spending time together and enjoying each other's company and not on who is getting what for whom.
