When I first got into AtLA Katara was the character I was drawn to right away, later Toph became my favorite character, but I still loved Katara.

I soured on Katara when she told Sokka he wasn't hurting like she was not having their dead mother in their lives. Worse, she never got called out for saying something so fucking stupid and cruel. Anyway, I haven't cared for the character since.

Augh!!! Yes!!
If she was at least scolded for saying those things, or if Sokka was allowed any kind of closure himself, things would be different. But the entire episode is played out as if she's entirely in the right... It's terrible.
