Yeah I saw, from the cesspit of movie discussion, r/movies, that "he apologized!" and "evil SJWs!" when you know they never gave a fuck about Hart before.

If he already apologized once, why not again? "I made shit comments." and be done with it.

Frankly, nothing of value was lost. Didn't want to hear him scream and shriek for 3 hours.

The top comments I have been seeing on Reddit support his firing. There was even a post today about it.

So there are sensible people on reddit. Odds are there had to be.

Literally all the popular threads on tumblr I ever see are shitting are Trump and conservative ideals. So that makes reddit cool in my book. Honestly reddit is more 'progressive' than tumblr and twitter from what I see.

I don't understand this post at all. What do you mean by "progressive"?

The first discussion post in /r/movies kinda hurt my brain. So many posts were like 'he apologized before so why must he apologize again', but they were quoting an article that SAID he apologized and there's just...no source to an actual apology. The only thing people who cared found was him saying he 'can't make those jokes anymore because people are too sensitive' (...his words, not mine). So no, he did not apologize, he just said he would stop and not even because he thinks they were wrong. But Reddit being Reddit, so many people keep repeating that he's apologized before and it just hurts to read urgh.

I'm on the fence about Gunn and mostly just hate the way it was handled instead of the firing itself, but Hart deserved to be removed. I do find it a little funny how he refused to apologize and got fired, but then his team made him issue an actual apology after anyway so he still lost the job but had to give out the apology (that he didn't mean).
