I am so over all this digging up 5 year old posts to ruin peoples lives shit. Makes me glad I never had any social media.

Social media isn't the problem. Broadcasting one's bigotry over social media is where people get tripped up. If not having social media is the only thing saving you from widespread criticism about being a homophobe, well...

It didn't ruin Kevin Hart's life, or anybody else's life. Kevin Hart lost one gig.

And it's not like they dug it up and then Kevin Hart immediately got fired. They said it would be fine if he apologized and he told them no. I don't see how this is anyone but Kevin Hart's fault.

I learned "don't put your name or picture online next to something you wouldn't want your boss to see" about 25 years ago. If these people, who pay others to help them with PR, can't manage to follow such a simple concept, then I can't feel too sorry for them.
