...a bnf (which is stupid ANYWAYS) isn't something you declare yourself-it's something people label you as. besides, who the hell wants to be a fucking BNF in the twilight fandom of all places?

Just because someone gets labeled a BNF doesn't make them one. If they lurk and do nothing but write and don't participate in fandom, I'd say not BNF. There are a couple people in the Twilight fandom who are like that - I wonder which one of them this is?.

That said...Twilight fandom is good for lulz and mockery and thats about that. Those girls take crazy to an entirely new, entirely terrifying level. Every time I see a fic get popular I smile, because its suck is inevitable.

There are so many people running around in the Twilight fandom on livejournal alone it's hard to keep up anymore-then again, I'm not even close to being as active as I was.

The fandom itself is hilarious for it's wank (because holy crap....just holy crap.) and the series itself is fantastic for mocking! I definitely keep my distance as much as possible though.

I think that BNFdom is often cultivated (and I call upon the days of sock-puppet drama in the HP fandom), so I can see where this secret is coming from on that front. Writing a well-liked and well-reviewed story isn't enough for BNF status. I'd say there needs to be board presence...really, a general presence in the fandom before BNFdom applies.

Twilight BNFs suck. They are all psychos with too much time on their hands and too little imagination...and they LOVE being BNFs. It is hysterical.
