I really really hate that the more information we get about Ignis (FFXV) the more he's coming off as fucking Patrick Bateman. His episode was bad enough on the shades of yandere (and literally took me from shipping Ignoct into notp-ing it, which is like... opposite from everyone else, which also sucks), I didn't need more of this ~secret maniacal brutal~ side of him. Ugh. I liked him so much better when he was just a very good and caring friend with a sarcastic streak a mile wide.

On the good side of things, though, I'm really happy that the directors are still looking for ways to deliver the content they wanted to give us, even if it's not in game format. I'm 100% okay with an Episode Luna novelization or an Episode Noctis anime. I'm just glad it hasn't been abandoned. I care so goddamn much about this canon, it's stupid. I know KH3 is probably going to kill what's left of the fandom, but... if they do bring out more stuff, maybe some people will stick around.

I guess I don't see what's wrong with the Episode Ignis thing when his whole thing was not wanting his friend to fucking die because some gods decided that's how they do things.

No no, don't get me wrong, that part's fine. Encouraged, even! Noct (and Luna) got a bullshit fate handed to them and I appreciate someone giving the gods and kings the middle finger. It's the whole I DON'T WANT TO DIE WITHOUT HIM absolute codependent unhealthy attachment shit I didn't need. Like, he was scary about it, it made me feel super grossed out and I wanted to just kind of shepherd Noct out of there.
