I write a combination of gen, SFW shippy stuff, and NSFW shippy stuff, and while the porn does bring in the kudos, the other stuff is pretty popular as well. (And contrary to the usual expectations, the fics with the most guest kudos on my account are the pre-slash, kinda smarmy shipfics.) Anyway, my point is, you should follow your heart, and post whatever you want! I'm sure there's an audience for your stuff somewhere.
